Welcome to the website of the research laboratory led by Dr. Florian Glöcklhofer, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Applied Synthetic Chemistry at TU Wien and Visiting Researcher at Imperial College London.

In our lab, we aim to translate research on fundamental effects in organic molecules into the development of ground-breaking materials for applications. Explore this website to find out more about our current work on the design and synthesis of redox-active conjugated macrocycles and polymers for battery electrodes and other applications.

In our key project, funded by an ERC Starting Grant, we aim to develop conjugated polymers with interchain aromaticity.
