Simon and Florian attended the 16th International Symposium on Functional π-Electron Systems (Fπ16) in Jeju (South Korea). Simon gave a talk on macrocycle-based battery electrode materials, and Florian presented our work on macrocycle-based conjugated co-polymers.
We would like to thank the organisers for this opportunity to present our research and for organising such a fantastic conference!
Before the conference, Florian visited Prof. Hyejeong Seong at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Prof. Jang Wook Choi at Seoul National University (SNU), and Prof. Hocheon Yoo at Hanyang University.
We would like to thank them for the exciting scientific discussions and their hospitality!
It was also great to meet so many friends and former colleagues from Imperial College London at the conference.
